How do I turn a module on for someone?

First check whether the person already has the module through a promotion or grant. For a paid team addition, an owner or admin selects the module on Team, reviews the payment summary and confirms Activate & pay. Selection alone is not activation.

Before you start

Paid team additions require a seated member, suitable management permission and a plan that supports the purchase. SEO and Video currently have promotional availability; this is not a promise of permanent free pricing. Other modules can depend on paid access or account-specific grants.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Team and find the correct GitHub account in Seats.
  2. Check the module's existing state. Do not buy access merely because its button is hidden in the desktop's More menu.
  3. For an unavailable paid module, select its button.
  4. Read the selected modules, billing period and exact charge in the payment bar.
  5. Click Activate & pay only when you intend that purchase.
  6. Wait for success, then ask the person to check the module in Codus.

If the operation fails, retain the error and check the resulting account state before retrying a charge. Current prices and payment terms are shown in the live purchase flow, not fixed by an old help-page example.

How do I know it worked?

The activation succeeds and the module opens for the intended account. Allow access to refresh, and check More before assuming a tab is missing. A selected chip or payment attempt without a success result is not confirmation.
