How do I check Codus permissions on my Mac?
Open Installation guide and find Codus permissions under Mac access. It shows microphone, camera, screen-recording and accessibility access independently. Grant only the features you use.
Before you start
These are Mac controls, not Windows permission instructions. A missing Mac permissions panel on Windows is not four denied permissions.
Review the permission you need
- Open Installation guide from the bottom bar.
- Find Codus permissions.
- Use Ask macOS for a permission not yet requested, or Open Settings or Review to inspect it in macOS.
- Return to Codus. Click Refresh if you need another check.
- If it says Restart needed, finish your work and fully restart Codus.
Microphone is for dictation and voice recordings. Camera is for camera recordings. Screen recording allows recording and inspecting the screen. Accessibility enables control of other Mac apps when you ask.
Checking… is not approval. Restricted can require your device administrator's help. Do not bypass a workplace policy or switch unrelated permissions on to clear the count.
How do I know it worked?
The relevant permission says Allowed and a small test of that feature succeeds. The count need not be 4/4 if you do not use all four features.
