Where do I find my invoices and update my card?
Your invoices, receipts and card all live in the billing portal. Go to app.trycodus.com/billing, sign in as the person who bought the plan, and click Manage licenses & billing. That opens a secure page run by Stripe where you can download every invoice, update or replace your card, and see your renewal date and next charge. Billing belongs to the buyer's account, so if you are an admin but not the buyer, you will not see that button.
Before you start
Sign in as the person who bought the subscription. Admins manage people and packs, but the plan, the card and the invoices stay with the buyer. See the admin note in How do I add someone to my team?.
Steps
- Go to the billing page.
- Click Manage licenses & billing.
- You land on the Stripe portal. From there you can open Invoice history and download each invoice as a PDF, open your Payment method to change the card, and see your renewal date and next amount.
Invoices and cards are handled by Stripe, so codus never stores your card details itself.
What it costs
Nothing. Opening the portal and downloading invoices is free.
Common problems
There is no Manage billing button. You are not the account that bought the plan. Only the buyer sees it. Ask whoever set up the subscription to pull the invoice or update the card. This is the same reason admins cannot change the plan: billing stays with the buyer.
My payment failed, or it says Past due. Update your card in the portal to restore access. codus locks as soon as a payment fails, so fixing the card is what turns it back on. Open Manage licenses & billing, then Payment method, and add a working card.
I need a company name or VAT number on the invoice. Add your billing details in the portal before the next invoice is issued. Stripe issues the invoices with whatever billing details are on file.
