What should I do if my Claude sign-in email has not arrived?

Check the address shown on the sign-in page, your spam folder and the sign-in method required by your account. A missing email does not establish that Codus is broken, that the address is correct or that you need to buy a different Claude plan.

Before you start

This is the AI provider's sign-in, not Codus's GitHub login. Follow the current Claude Code setup guidance. A company-managed account may need its organisation's sign-in or administrator approval.

Steps

  1. Check which account and address the browser is trying to authenticate.
  2. Search your inbox and spam folder for the provider's message.
  3. If the page offers Resend, follow its timing and retry instructions. Avoid repeatedly requesting codes in rapid succession.
  4. Use the latest valid message or the organisation's required sign-in method.
  5. Return to the provider terminal and confirm that sign-in completed.

Do not assume email aliases or punctuation rules work identically for every mail provider. Do not abandon a company account for a personal paid account merely because email is delayed.

If it still fails

Keep the exact error and contact the provider's support or your organisation administrator. Codus support can help distinguish a browser, installation or app-detection issue, but cannot deliver the provider's verification email or bypass account verification.

How do I know it worked?

The provider confirms sign-in and reaches a usable prompt. A link clicked in email or a browser success screen alone is not proof the terminal session finished authenticating.
