Why can't I see the chats, issues or floor tabs?
The chats and issues sidebar tabs and the floor button in the top bar only appear for accounts that have the Support module. If you do not have it, none of them show, which is by design and not a fault. If the tabs are there but ask you to sign in, that is a separate thing: the module is present, but the conversations live in codus cloud and need you signed in.
Before you start
- codus identifies you by your GitHub username. A module granted to a different account of yours will not show up on the one you are signed in as.
- The chats and issues tabs sit in a project's sidebar, next to tasks, done, and notes. Their names are lowercase.
- The floor button sits in the bar along the top.
The usual reason: no Support module
The Support module adds all of it: the chats tab, the issues tab, and the floor button. Without the module, none of them appear. See What are the modules, and what does each one add?.

If it was granted a moment ago
A newly granted module can take about a minute to appear, and nothing announces it. To hurry it along:
- Click away and back. Switch to any other app, then click back onto codus. That is often enough.
- Reload the window. With codus in front, choose View then Reload in the menu bar at the top of your screen. This reloads only the codus window. Your agents and their conversations are not part of that window, so nothing you have running is interrupted.
You do not need to reinstall anything.
The tabs are there but ask me to sign in
If you can see the tabs but they say to sign in, the module is fine and you only need to sign in to codus cloud, where your conversations live. The messages you might see are:
- The chats tab: "Sign in to codus cloud (Settings → Account) to run customer-support chat".
- The issues tab: "Sign in to codus cloud to use the issues queue".
- The floor: "Sign in to codus cloud (Settings → Account) to run the support floor".

Someone else's codus shows more tabs
A development or demo build shows every area regardless of what is paid for. A normal account only shows the modules it holds, so having fewer tabs than a colleague's demo machine is expected, not broken.
How do I know it worked?
A project's sidebar shows chats and issues tabs, and the top bar shows a floor button. Clicking chats opens the conversation list rather than doing nothing.
Still stuck
If the tabs have not appeared after a few minutes, confirm with whoever granted the module that it went to the GitHub account you are signed in as. This is the same situation covered in I was given a pack but I can't see its tab.
