What should I do if a browser blocks Codus controls?
A preview that remains over a menu, the Brain or another control is a display fault. It is not evidence that your project files are damaged. Use browser overlap recovery to restore the layout without deleting your data.
Before you start
Save unfinished browser input if possible. Decide whether the obstructing page is the project's web preview or the Brain's Live View; they have separate show/hide controls.
Steps
- Hide the affected preview using the project's web button or the Brain's globe.
- Reopen the panel you were trying to use, then show the preview again.
- If the overlap returns, open Settings → Updates and note Current version.
- Send support a screenshot and the actions that caused it. Mention your operating system and whether the browser was docked or floating.
Do not treat a temporarily successful resize as proof the underlying problem is fixed. Do not clear Codus application data or reinstall repeatedly as a first response.
How do I know it worked?
The previously covered controls are visible and respond to clicks. If the preview covers them again, keep the reproduction steps so support can investigate the recurring fault.
