The Brain drawer is now a tab strip: run several brains side by side, each its own local Claude Code session in its own workspace, and they can message each other. Recorder Touch-up
The screen recorder gains a Touch-up slider: Zoom-style skin smoothing that tracks your face frame by frame and masks to just your skin, so the background and edges stay sharp. The camera preview can pop out larger while you record, so you can see the effect as you go.

Picture-in-picture previews
Any quadrant's browser preview can float as a small, chromeless picture-in-picture over its own cell, with the terminal fully usable behind it. Pop one out or all four at once, drag them anywhere, and navigate from the inline address bar in the title strip.

Film straight into the project
Every video project now has a Film footage button in its header. Click it and the recorder opens with that project already selected as the destination, completing the scripted-recording flow: the Brain sets up a project with a script, you open it and record with the script in front of you.

Projects name themselves, GoDaddy joins
A folder of recordings used to read "Recording Jul 15" seventeen times over. As soon as the editing agent knows what a video is, it retitles the project with a short, content-first name, and your manual names always win. GoDaddy joins the integrations, and agents can now commission analyst studies directly.

Camera clock sync, fixed at the source
On some Macs the camera and the screen capture run on different hardware clocks, which could put the bubble’s lips up to half a second ahead of the voice. The camera now gets the same per-machine clock correction as the microphone, verified to a fifth of a millisecond.

Bubble lip-sync, measured not guessed
The recorder lays a quiet reference copy of the microphone onto the camera track, so the editor can cross-correlate the exact offset and shift the bubble to land on the words. The reference is only used to measure, never heard.

Parallel editing for long recordings
A long screen recording is now cut in parallel: split at safe seams, worked simultaneously, stitched back and checked as a whole. The quality gates got sharper too, and the independent quality-control pass now runs a tier earlier.

Recordings no longer import silent
The import step relied on ffprobe to find the audio, and codus was installing ffmpeg without it. Both now install together, the import heals itself rather than shipping a silent clip, and the record menu warns you up front with a one-click fix.

Edit estimates that know your footage
Every edit setting used to quote a fixed time whether the recording was ninety seconds or forty-five minutes. The estimate now scales with the footage, and it is a target, never a licence: if an edit runs over, it finishes properly rather than skipping a quality check.

A short clip for LinkedIn does not need the whole team, twenty thumbnails and a vertical cut. Pick Very quick, Quick, Standard or Full in the record panel and the edit is sized to match. Speed comes from doing less, never worse: the verbatim pass and every quality gate run identically on all four settings.

Recorder self-heal
The record menu now checks whether this Mac can import recordings. When ffmpeg is missing it says so with a one-click fix, no admin password, no Homebrew, and installing it rescues any earlier recordings that captured fine but never made it into their project.

Recordings only start where they can land

Multi-instance agent routing
