How do I read my video script from my phone or tablet?

Open app.trycodus.com/t in a browser on your phone or tablet and sign in with GitHub. You get a teleprompter: a dark, large-text list of your video scripts, newest first. Tap one and it opens ready to read and scroll while you record to camera. Scripts you write in a codus video project on the desktop show up here on their own, so you can stand a tablet in your rig and read straight off it.

Before you start

• Sign in with the same GitHub account you use on the desktop, so you see your own scripts.
• You need at least one script written in a codus video project. New scripts appear here automatically once they are saved on the desktop.

Steps

1. On the phone or tablet you will read from, open app.trycodus.com/t.
2. If you are not signed in, the page reads "Sign in to see the scripts your codus desktop has published." Tap Sign in with GitHub.
3. You get the Teleprompter list. Each row shows the project name, the script's label, its word count, and a rough read time.
4. Tap the script you want. It opens full screen, ready to read and scroll.

How do I know it worked?

You see your scripts listed newest first, with a count at the top. Tapping one opens the reading view. If you write or save a new script in a video project on the desktop, it appears in this list without you doing anything.

Common problems

• The list says "No scripts yet". You have not saved a script in a video project yet. The page explains: "Write or save a script in a codus video project and it appears here automatically. Then stand the tablet in the rig, tap the script, and roll." Create one on the desktop first.
• I see someone else's scripts, or none of mine. You are signed in to the wrong GitHub account. Only your own scripts show here, tied to the account you sign in with. Sign in with the account you use on the desktop.
• Could not load scripts. The page asks you to pull to refresh or try again shortly. If it keeps failing, check your connection.
