Why are my quadrant Tasks or Done items missing on another device?

Check the project folder, Codus GitHub account and app version on both devices before changing anything. A local Done entry and a cloud-visible entry are different evidence, and an empty list does not prove your work was deleted.

Before you start

Keep the local records intact. Do not clear app data, remove a project or reinstall Codus as a sync repair. An interrupted task may have changed files even if its completion was not recorded.

Check what is missing

  1. Open the intended quadrant and verify its folder. Tasks and Done follow the project, not whichever quadrant number you remember.
  2. Check that desktop and Codus Cloud use the same GitHub account.
  3. In desktop Settings → Updates, confirm the installed version and apply an available update once work is safe to stop.
  4. Keep Codus open and connected, then refresh the cloud page.
  5. Compare one recent, known entry on both surfaces. If the entry never appeared locally, ask the agent whether it finished and recorded the work.
  6. If it exists locally but not in the cloud, report that distinction to support with the time, project and app version.

Switching accounts does not authorise moving another account's records. If a workspace-ownership or conflict warning appears, preserve it and contact support rather than force-copying data.

How do I know it worked?

The same intended entry appears under the right project on both devices. A green activity light alone is not proof that the entry synced.

For Brain's own records, use Brain sync status and review. Those controls do not repair quadrant Done items.
