Why are my Brain records waiting to sync?

Check the sync message above the Brain's tasks, done or notes. Saved on this desktop means a local record exists; Synced with cloud confirms a cloud sync. They are not the same status.

Before you start

Sign in to the same Codus GitHub account on the computers you want to use. Keep local records intact while resolving a problem. Do not delete app data or reinstall Codus as a sync repair.

Check the status

  1. Open the relevant Brain tab, then tasks, done or notes.
  2. If it says Sign in to sync, sign in through Codus account settings.
  3. For Changes waiting to sync or Cloud sync paused, check your connection, then click Sync now.
  4. Wait for the message to change. If an error remains, keep its exact wording for support.

Review two versions

If the message says Sync needs review, click Review. Codus shows the saved desktop and cloud versions.

Read both before choosing Keep desktop or Use cloud. Where no cloud version exists, Keep saved record may be offered instead. Some choices are disabled for records that cannot be resolved that way. Contact support rather than discarding data to clear a warning.

How do I know it worked?

The warning clears and the intended records remain visible after Refresh. Synced with cloud confirms the sync completed.

This panel is for Brain records. Missing project-sidebar Done items need quadrant sync troubleshooting, not Brain conflict controls.
