What happens if I turn a module off?
Removing a paid module on Team removes that paid source of access; it does not delete the person's project files. Another valid grant or promotion can still keep the area available, so a visible tab does not prove the cancellation failed.
Before you start
You need permission to manage that team's modules. Confirm the person, module and billing effect before clicking. Save work and discuss any running specialist jobs with the person affected.
Steps
- Open Team and find the person in Seats.
- Find the active module you intend to remove.
- Use its active module control to disable the paid addition. This can apply immediately; do not click it merely to inspect the price.
- Read the result and review billing. The interface describes unused-time credit where applicable; a credit is not a cash refund.
- Check whether any other source of access applies if the module stays visible.
Deleting a project, revoking a free grant and removing a paid module are different operations. None should be inferred from one another. Cancelling an add-on also does not cancel the base Codus plan.
How do I know it worked?
The team page confirms the paid addition is disabled and billing reflects the change. Local project files remain where they were. If access remains through another valid source, the tab may remain available.
