How do I recover when a browser covers the Brain drawer?
A browser that stays over the Brain controls or blocks clicks is a display problem, not normal behaviour you should have to accept. Hide and reopen the affected preview as a temporary recovery, then check your installed Codus version if it happens again.
Before you start
Distinguish the project's web preview in the main grid from the Brain's Live View inside the drawer. Save any unfinished form or annotation in the page before closing or reloading it. Do not reset your workspace or delete browser data to fix an overlap.
Recover the display
- For a project preview, use that quadrant's web button to hide it.
- Close and reopen the Brain drawer. Check that its controls are readable and clickable.
- Reopen the project's web preview. If needed, resize the Codus window or a grid divider to let the layout settle.
- For the Brain's own Live View, use its globe instead, then return to session.
- If the problem returns, check Settings → Updates and record the current version before reporting it.
These are recovery steps, not a guarantee that every browser-loading or input problem has the same cause. If you cannot access a control, take a screenshot before restarting Codus; restarting stops local agents and servers.
How do I know it worked?
The browser stays within its intended preview area and the Brain's tabs, input and buttons can be used. Report a repeatable overlap with your operating system, version and the sequence that triggered it.
