# Can the Brain move agents when an account is nearly used up?

Yes, you can enable **Let Brain 1 handle high usage** in **Switch status**. Codus checks reported usage windows, confirms fresh readings and waits for a safe prompt before moving supported Claude or Codex sessions.

## Before you start

Have another signed-in account with available usage. Account-switch permission and Claude/Codex handoff permission are separate and off by default. Moving accounts does not remove the provider's limits or purchase more usage.

## Enable monitoring

1. Click **Claude** or **Codex** in the status bar, then **Switch status**.
2. Under **Agent permissions**, enable **Allow agents and Brain to switch accounts**.
3. Enable **Also allow Claude and Codex handoffs** only if you want provider changes as well.
4. Under **Usage monitoring**, enable **Let Brain 1 handle high usage**.
5. Set **Warn at** to a whole percentage from 1 to 99 and click **Save threshold**.
6. Decide whether to enable **Include pinned terminals in automatic moves**. Leave it off to preserve those account assignments.

## If nothing moves

Read the monitoring detail and expand the affected-terminal list. Busy work waits. Missing spare accounts, unconfirmed usage, permissions or pinned assignments can leave terminals unchanged. **Ask Brain to retry** is offered when a warning needs attention; fix the stated cause first.

## How do I know it worked?

The monitoring history records the warning and any blocked terminals. **Switch status** confirms successful moves as **Verified**. A warning by itself does not mean an account change happened.
