# Who is on the SEO agent team, and what does each one do?

The SEO team is six agents: an **SEO Manager** who runs the project, plus five specialists, **Tech SEO**, **Content Strategist**, **Link Builder**, **SEO Executive** and **Fact Checker**. The Manager plans the work and hands parts to the specialists, and nothing reaches you until the Fact Checker has tried to pull it apart. You see them as a row under **Team** in the right column when a project is open.

## Before you start

- Open a project inside the **SEO** tab. The **Team** row and its agents only show once a project is selected.
- The specialists do not appear until the project is running and the Manager has started them, so most of the row is greyed out until then. That is expected.

## The team

- **SEO Manager.** The lead. It plans the audit, decides what each specialist tackles, keeps the work honest, and pulls the findings together for you. When you want to steer the work, this is who you talk to. It is the one agent that starts the moment you run a project.

- **Tech SEO.** Looks at the health of the site itself: whether pages can be crawled and indexed, the site structure and internal linking, structured data, page speed and the Core Web Vitals, and rendering. You get specific, prioritised technical fixes with the evidence for each, not a generic checklist.

- **Content Strategist.** Works out why the pages that rank are winning on content, and exactly what the client's page is missing: the topics, questions, entities and formats to add, each tied to a competitor that proves the point. It also reads what the search results actually reward for a query, so the page is aimed at the right intent.

- **Link Builder.** Finds off-page opportunities: the most relevant, highest-probability places the client could earn links, judged against the sites that already rank. You get a prioritised prospect list that says who, why they would link, and the angle, backed by real data rather than guesswork.

- **SEO Executive.** The hands-on generalist that runs the cross-cutting comparisons: how the top-ranking pages stack up on layout, content, structure and user journey, which on-page elements users of that query expect, where the client ranks but under-earns its clicks, and where two of the client's own pages compete for the same term. It also builds the charts you see in the **Charts** tab and reviews each one before publishing it.

- **Fact Checker.** The team's in-house sceptic. It audits every claim and recommendation before it reaches you and asks the questions a demanding expert would: is this backed by real evidence, is it specific and actionable, is it honest about where the numbers came from? Anything vague or unsupported gets cut. This is why the output holds up.

## How they work together

The Manager starts on its own when you run a project. Once it has a plan, it brings the five specialists online, hands out the work, and they run in parallel, each in its own terminal. Findings flow back to the Manager, through the Fact Checker, and into the project's tabs for you. You can watch any of them: click a name in the **Team** row to see that agent's terminal and, in **Live View**, the page it is looking at.

## How do I know it worked?

When a project is running, the **Team** row lights up: the **SEO Manager** first, then **Tech SEO**, **Content Strategist**, **Link Builder**, **SEO Executive** and **Fact Checker** as the Manager starts them. A small coloured dot next to each name shows whether it is idle, working, waiting on you, done, or errored.

## Common problems

**"Only the SEO Manager is clickable, the rest are greyed out."** The specialists have not been started yet. The Manager starts them once it has a plan for the project. Give it a moment after you click **Run team**.

**"I clicked a specialist and it says it has not been spawned yet."** Same reason. That agent is not running for this project yet. Watch the **SEO Manager** instead until it brings the team online.
