# How do I use the Meta Ads workspace?

Open **meta ads** from the top bar or **More**, connect your Meta account and choose the ad account you intend to inspect. The workspace lets you review performance, drill into ads and prepare changes.

## Before you start

Use an authorised Meta connection with access to the intended ad account. Codus access does not include advertising spend. Confirm the account, budget and proposed action before publishing, enabling or changing paid advertising.

## Inspect performance

1. Open **meta ads** and complete the connection prompt if shown.
2. Choose the correct **ad account**.
3. Select a date preset or **Custom** dates. Use **Max** when you need the widest offered range.
4. Check **Active** versus **All** before treating a missing campaign as deleted.
5. Open a campaign, then its ad set or ad, to inspect detail and comments.
6. Use **Refresh** to request current information. Figures and comments also refresh while the view is open.

Unread-comment markers and totals depend on the selected account and filters. An empty filtered list does not establish that the account has no ads.

## Prepare or manage work

Use **New ad** for the creation flow. The creation control states that new items are created paused; creating an item is not proof it is delivering. Inspect its final state before enabling it.

Use the available management, Assets and agent controls for the task you want. Tell the agent whether you want analysis only, a draft or an approved live change. Review the outcome in Meta when spend or delivery matters.

## How do I know it worked?

The chosen account and date range are correct, data has a recent update time and the intended item shows its actual state. A draft, paused item or successful API response is not the same as an approved ad delivering to customers.
